Ricki (AKC CH. Choya Cotton Mix of Winfield) enjoyed a fun-filled day of showing today at the Delaware Valley Cavalier Club Specialty show in New Jersey winning Best Veteran Dog under Judge: Joan Scott. At almost 9 years of age, Ricki really showed his little heart out :)

Ricki's son Spencer did well at the show as well taking 2nd place out of 4 in the 12 - 18 month puppy class.

We'll have to do it again soon as it was so much fun for everyone! When is the next specialty??? Stay tuned for more soon to come!!!

Spencer won his very first puppy class today at the AKC Sanctioned Match in Virginia with Gunnar handling him. Spencer and Gunnar then went on to win the breed. Not bad for a young puppy! So, despite the snow coming down today, the kids had a whole lot of fun showing dogs and the dogs got a lot of good show practice in.

Gemma is out of Liz and by Robbie so she has the best of our best behind her (Ricki, Polo, Porsche, Liz, etc.). Gemma did extremely well in puppy class last year taking the breed over specials. Those were shows just for fun and now that she is over a year and more mature, we hope to have her back out again to show to finish. Look for Gemma in the ring this Fall...

Romeo now has a beautiful new home in Virginia and we are very excited about this wonderful new co-ownership. It was love at first sight for both Elizabeth and Romeo and it just felt right to everyone. So, needless to say, we are very, very happy for all!

Elizabeth, who lives in beautiful Old Towne Alexandria, is looking forward to helping us show Romeo to his championship; and we can hardly wait for the upcoming shows to arrive so that we can take him out and have fun watching him strut his stuff. We just spent a fun morning here at our Laytonsville home with the Production Crew of a brand new America One TV show "America's Most Pampered Pets." The Producer and Co-Anchor of this show is also a Producer of "America's Most Wanted" and has won fourEmmy Awards for that show as of now. Apparently, Cadeau Cavaliers has become known for having the most pampered Cavaliers (LOL), and we were chosen to be featured as the Breeders of the week for the Second Episode of the Show!!! Elise, Melissa, Cassandra and Victoria (Melissa's daughters) were there - along with lots of our favorite Cavaliers! Fun was had by all! The Production Staff was friendly, and the Co-Anchors were VERY nice (and extremely silly! LOL!). The program will air on Monday, May 8th, at 7:00 p.m., on Cable's America One. Be sure to watch it !!!
